Week 1 - Introduction

 Hi everyone! 

I want to welcome everyone to my blog. Today technology has advanced so much that we are basically connected to the internet 24/7. While the convenience is excellent (speaking from experience), it is essential to understand the importance of security and how to protect ourselves from being hacked. As part of my journey to getting my Computer information systems degree, I have minored in cybersecurity to extend my knowledge of protecting devices and our digital footprint. I am very passionate about security and hope to break into the field to gain real-world experience, but for the moment, I will continue to get my knowledge from school. For the next 12 weeks, I will discuss my journey into cloud computing and governance.
